Well, that almost completes the planting for summer. As it stands we have 15 tomato plants (a nice mixture of cherry, Roma and Big red varieties), Potatoes are coming along very nicely (About 3 different varieties there), cucumber (apple, mini apple and an assortment of other types), pumpkins galore, watermelons, peas, beans, zucchini (including my much loved trombone zucchini), beetroot, corn and a few things I am sure to have forgotten. Along with the veggies we have blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. Lemon tree, lime tree, apples, nectarines, apricot, figs and peach trees! I look forward to a few weeks rest now as I wait for the produce to start rolling in!
As an aside, last week I began an organic gardening course at a local community garden. Hopefully this will see me graduate from chief digger and heavy lifter to veggie patch manager extraordinaire!
